As a final reminder, please ensure that before vacating the premises, you fulfill your obligation to clean the apartment thoroughly and securely package all disposables. This is required by law for all residential leases in the province. Aim to dispose of any waste on the last garbage collection day if possible:
Clean the kitchen: inside and outside cabinets and appliances. Clean the inside of the refrigerator, the inside of the stove and the dishwasher.
Clean the bathroom: floors, sink(s), toilet(s), bathtub(s), shower(s), vanity, mirrors and everything else.
Mop all floors after sweeping up dust and residues.
Clean all surfaces with a damp cloth and soap, including windows.
Do not leave food or personal items behind.
Report any damaged items by submitting a maintenance request Include photos and a detailed description.
Please be aware that during the last week of your stay, the future tenants will reach out to you to schedule a visit to inspect the cleanliness of the apartment.
Be aware that it is your responsibility to hand over the keys and the apartment to one of our representatives after conducting an inspection of the premises.
Please ensure that you do not leave any of your belongings behind. Failure to comply will result in a junk removal service fee, which will be invoiced to you. (Min $200)
Two visits to your apartment will be scheduled during the last week of April, and we will inform you of the date and time.
As standard procedure, tenants are expected to vacate by the early morning of 1st of the month before 10 AM, and new tenants will begin moving in starting 10 AM.
You'll receive an email connecting you with the new tenants to facilitate a smooth transition. Please ensure you collaborate with them effectively.
